CMS: 2020 HealthCare.gov enrollment approaches 1.7 million
Nearly 1.7 million people selected a 2020 health plan through HealthCare.gov Nov. 1-16, including more than 737,000 last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services reported today. About three-quarters of those selecting plans were renewing coverage and the rest were new consumers. The report shows total plan selections as of Saturday for each of the 38 states using HealthCare.gov for 2020 open enrollment, which began Nov. 1 and runs through Dec. 15.
