HRSA awards $350 million to expand access to maternal health services
The Health Resources and Services Administration today awarded $342 million to expand home visiting services to pregnant women and parents with young children in U.S. states and territories. The agency also awarded $6.9 million in supplemental funding through its Healthy Start initiative to increase access to doulas, reduce disparities in infant mortality and improve state reporting on maternal mortality.
