CMS finalizes certain changes to Medicare Advantage cost sharing limits
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services yesterday finalized certain changes to Medicare Advantage maximum out-of-pocket and cost sharing limits for Medicare Parts A and B services that the agency proposed in 2020 to align with federal law. The final rule also codifies guidance on applying the changes beginning in contract year 2023; and requests comments on new or different ways to update and change the cost sharing limits in future years. CMS will publish the final rule in the April 14 Federal Register, with comments accepted for 60 days.
