Emory Healthcare selects CEO

Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare has named Matt Wain CEO of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital in Tucker, Ga., and Emory University Hospital at Wesley Woods in Atlanta effective Aug. 19. He currently serves as chief operating officer of Medical University of South Carolina Health in Charleston.

Prime Healthcare selects first CMO of strategy

Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare has named Kavitha Bhatia, M.D., chief medical officer of strategy, a newly created role. She previously served as vice president of clinical transformation and chair of the Prime Healthcare Foundation. 

Sequoia Hospital Foundation names new president

Redwood City, Calif.-based Sequoia Hospital Foundation has selected Gail Rudolph to serve as president of the foundation as well as vice president of development and community relations for the hospital. She most recently served as senior director of development for Cleveland Clinic's Neurological Institute.

Essentia Health names SVP of east market

Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health has named Tammy Kritzer senior vice president for the East Market. She most recently served as a health care consultant with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, and previously served as vice president and operations administrator for the Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, Minn.
